See saw (I consider you, consider me)

See Saw (I consider you, consider me) was a one night performance and physical environment that took place a LA><ART in Los Angeles, in which the audience's participation was a necessary element of the performance.  A wall, 9ft by 9ft, was lifted and held by audience participants, obstructing their sight line and physically editing me out. The wall divided the room into two parts, while a gap of 2ft by 9ft at the lower end of wall allowed the audience to see my action from the ankle down (a controlled viewing point locating what was seen and what was experienced).  Behind this wall I balanced on a plank of wood precariously placed on a plaster cylinder, 16in in diameter. I shifted my body weight back and forth, left to right, crashing one end of the plank into the gallery wall.  The wall was miked and fed into a bass amp, therefore echoing the physical occasion.  The desired intention, realized, was to use the vibration of the wall to knock a 19in by 19in paper cube off the wall.
